More Details:
We've put together a handy file listing 300 civil & construction firms across the USA, covering different branches within the civil sector. We made a special effort to identify firms that sponsor H1B visas, addressing a common challenge in job searches.
Having this list will not guarantee a job, this will though put you ahead of your competition. Our team dedicated over 50 hours to compile this valuable information just for you. This has been reviewed by Omkar J, who has over 8 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry in USA.
How to Use this file:
- Build a solid resume; I have attached a link in the file in case you don’t have one. Feel free to obtain a copy of mine and begin editing yours.
- Apply for a minimum of 10 jobs each day for 90 days. That's approximately 900 job applications, significantly increasing your probability of finding a job.
- If you have less or no experience, focus on small and mid-sized companies. Your chances of finding a job there are higher, as larger companies typically require experience. However, don't let that discourage you from applying to them.
- Don’t get hung up on the idea that you have to work for a specific company; that rarely works. I've tried it for the last 8 years.
- You can find the open positions on the company's career page. If you can't find them there, go to their LinkedIn page and find the details there.
- Use the application tracking tool to monitor the number of companies you have applied to; we specifically hired a Program Manager to build that tool for us.
- If you don't see any openings at the company, don't get discouraged; keep checking the careers page every two weeks for new positions.
- Last Tip: The applications you submit today will yield results in 30 to 60 days, so be patient with yourself. Aim for 10 units of effort and expect 1 unit of result, rather than doing 1 unit of work and expecting 10 units of results, that's insanity and a great way to stay unhappy. I have been there and done that.(Copyright @ 2024 Immigrant Talks Media. All rights reserved.)
